History Of Sylhet IHT
Institute of Health Technology, Sylhet was established in 2011. This institute is residing in East Shahi Eidgha, TB Gate, Sylhet. Honorable Finance Minister of Bangladesh Abul Mal Abdul Muhit inaugurated this institute on 24th December 2011.
In the starting session of 2012-13, this institute has only 2 technology, Laboratory and Radiology, and both have only 36 students. But presently, this institute delivers around 250 qualified, skilled health technologists each year.
Sylhet IHT Course And Seat Capacity
There are a total of 7 paramedical courses in Sylhet IHT, Diploma in Laboratory Medicine, Diploma in Dentist, Diploma in Pharmacy, Diploma in Radiography, Diploma in Radiotherapy, and Diploma in Physiotherapy. Each course holds only 50 seats.

Admission Qualification of Sylhet IHT
Those who passed the SSC/Equivalent examination in years with Grade Point at least 2.5(GPA) on a scale of 5.00 from any education board include Madrasah education Board. The examinee must have the Biology Course in his SSC/Equivalent exam syllabus.
