CPI or Chandpur Polytechnic Institute government polytechnic institute is a new government polytechnic institute in Bangladesh. This institute was founded in 2005.
This Polytechnic institute is located in the city area Kachua, 50 kilometers from Chandpur City. This institute has a Motto and that is “Its mission to develop quality human resources in the field of technical education”. The present principal name of this polytechnic institute is Engr. Lutfor Rahman. This institute has more than 1500 students and about 4 acres long campus.
Presently this institute is not providing the hostel facility. Students have to rent a house to stay in.
There is a well-decorated library in this institute. This library contains a huge of books. The institute students can collect their necessary books free from here. The medical center situated here to ensure the student with primary treatment.
To meet the demand for the food of the institute students there is a canteen available here. Students can collect fresh food from here.

If the students want to admit to this institute, they must have some qualifications. At first, they have to pass the SSC or equivalent exam with a minimum CGPA 3.50 and individual GPA 3.00 in general math or higher math. If they have these qualifications, they can apply.
All the government polytechnic has been preserved some quotas. The female quota is 20%, SSC (vocational) 15%, minor ethnic group quota 2%, freedom fighter 5%, special needs student quota 5%, and 2% for children of officials or employees who are working in Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment.
This institute provides you a 4 years long Diploma in Engineering course with various technologies. There are a total of 8 semesters in total for 4 years.
The class of this institute managed in two shifts. The first shift start from 08:00 AM and the second shift starts from 01:30 PM.
