Diploma in Civil Engineering is a total of 4 years long diploma program divided into eight semesters. Among the total of eight semesters, the first 7 semesters are for the academic studies and the last semester is for the industrial attachment. In Bangladesh, there are a total of 49 government and about 220 private polytechnic institutes.
