The Gopalganj polytechnic is controlled by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB). It stands in Chandradigalia, Gopalganj. This polytechnic has a large semi-urban campus. About 1500+ read in this polytechnic institute. This polytechnic institute has only 5 departments.
This institute has no residential hostel. But, there are lots of mess or house near the Institute for staying the students at a low cost. Students are also safe there.

This polytechnic institute provides a diploma in engineering courses in 5 technologies. The technologies are Computer, Electronics, Food, Electrical, Refrigeration, and Air Condition. Each technology has 50 seats.

If a student wants to admit to this polytechnic institute he/she must have some qualifications. First of all the students have to pass the SSC examination in a minimum CGPA 3.50 (for a male student) and 3.00 for a female student and individual GPA 3.00 in general math or higher math.

Diploma in engineering is a course of 4 years duration. The total of 4 years defined into 8 semesters. The first 7 semester is for academic studies and the last semester is for the industrial attachment.
