Kishorganj Polytechnic institute is a famous polytechnic institute in Bangladesh and this institute provides technical education to the students. This polytechnic institute situated in Karimganj Road, Karimganj, Kishoreganj and it has a semi-urban campus. The campus of this polytechnic is very nice and very useful for study. The present principal name of this polytechnic institute is Eng. Monir Uddin. This institute has a five-story administrative and an academic building, a workshop, a library, a mosque, a 500-seat auditorium, and an IT center. Besides, there are two 4-storeyed hostels for students.
There are two 4-story hostels for students. The male and also the female students can stay the hostel at a low cost.

The Kishoreganj Polytechnic Institute began its journey in 2008 with only 48 students and one department name Computer department. In the evolution of time presently this polytechnic provides diploma in engineering course with four technologies.
There is currently a 4-year Diploma-in-Engineering course under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board. In addition to technical education, students of every technology have a vocational education department for teaching the subject of Bengali, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Management, Social Science, Physical Education, etc.
It has a total of four engineering departments like Computer, Electronics, Food, and Refrigeration and Air conditioning. There are 50 seats in each department and each shift.
