Munshiganj Polytechnic Institute is one of the biggest technical vocational engineering institutions in Munshiganj district. This institute was established in 2006 with 04(four) technologies namely Computer, Electronics, Electro-medical and Instrumentation, and process control technology. Janab Billal Hossain was the founding principal of this institute.
You know there are a total of 49 government polytechnic institute in Bangladesh. Among the all government polytechnic institute the Munshiganj Polytechnic Institute is one of the remarkable. This institute situated in Mirkadim in the Munshiganj district. This institute has more than 2200 students, 34 administrative staff, and also a rural campus. Engr. Md. Mizanur Rahman is the present principal of this institute.
This institute has no residential hostel facilities for the students. But the Indstitute authority will do this as soon as possible.

Like the all government polytechnic institute, the admission process of this institute is the same. This institute selected the students by the results. To admit here you have to pass the SSC or equivalent exam with the minimum CGPA 3.50 ( for male), 3.00 (for female) and the individual CGPA needed 3.00 in general math or higher math. The applicant’s age must be under 22 years. If you have these you can apply for admission to this institute.
