Pabna Polytechnic Institute is a well-known government polytechnic institute located in Pabna, Bangladesh. It is one of the historical polytechnics in Bangladesh. This polytechnic plays a great role in the technology sector. This institute is conducted in the Bangladesh Technical Education Board ( BTEB). The present principal name of this polytechnic is Md. Atiqur Rahman. About 5200 students read in this famous institute.
This institute also provides the students with residential hostel facilities. The student can stay in the institute hostel at a low cost. The environment for the study is also positive in the hostel.

To admit to Pabna polytechnic the candidates must have some qualifications these are the candidates must have passed the SSC exam with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 and an individual GPA of 3.00 in math or higher math.
Like all government polytechnic institutes, this polytechnic also preserved some quotas at the time of admission. Among the total quotas, 20% is for female students, SSC vocational quota 15%, freedom fighter quota 5%, minor ethnic group quota 2%
The total duration of the Diploma in Engineering course is only 4 years. The 4 years are divided into 8 semesters. According to the syllabus, the first 7 semesters in for academic education and the last semester is for industrial training.
The total class is divided into two shifts. The first shift class start at 08:00 am and the second shift class starts at 01:30 pm.

Good infrastructure for study engineering with lot of essential facilities. According to me, IT should be including because of modern world.
