The Shariatpur Polytechnic Institute (SPI) was established in 2001 in 2.02 acres of land. In 2005 the academic activities of this institute were started to provide high quality mid-level technical education in the Shariatpur district. And For years, it has demonstrated its quality and wisdom in teaching and training.
Shariatpur Polytechnic Institute is an academic institute located at Chandankar Shariatpur. About 500 students get admission every year from this polytechnic institute. This institute has more than 1400 students, 32 academic staff, 08 administrative, and all over a well-decorated campus.

It is a government institute. Through some qualifications, this institute selects the students. At first, the students have to pass the SSC or equivalent exam with minimum CGPA 3.50 and the individual CGPA needed 3.00 in general math or higher math. Also, the applicant’s age must be under 22.
